We recently welcomed guests from near and far as we officially launch two of our revolutionary raspberry varieties, AVA™ Monet and AVA™ Dali, so named because they are “works of art!”.
These varieties, meticulously bred over years of trials and development, will mark a renaissance in raspberry cultivation, offering unparalleled quality, yield, and sustainability.
The main objective behind the development of AVA™ Monet and AVA™ Dali was to meet the diverse needs of growers, retailers, and consumers both domestically in the UK and internationally. With a focus on premium quality, these varieties have been crafted to deliver exceptional taste, appearance, and shelf life.
Throughout the event we welcomed talks from Jim Fairlie, Minister of Agriculture, Scottish Government, Lochy Porter, Chairman, Lucy Wilkins, Research & Breeding Director and John Gray, Managing Director. Our guests where then delighted with the picturesque beauty of East Seaton Farm as we guided them through our AVA™ Monet and AVA™ Dali tunnels and around the farm as we showcased the nurture and dedication that goes into cultivating our exceptional fruits.
