- Serves 4 as starter or 8 as part of a charcuterie board

- Large flat baking tray
Ingredients
- Half Baguette
- 30ml Olive Oil
- 200g Soft and mild goat’s cheese
- 100g Strawberries
- 80g Walnuts
- 50ml Honey
- 1Tbsp Chopped basil
- Seasalt
- Black Pepper
Method
- Pre-heat the oven to 190oC/170oC fan assisted/gas mark 5. Slice the half baguette into 8 pieces and drizzle with olive oil on both sides. Place in the oven fro 6 minutes on each side and until they are golden and crisp. Remove from oven and leave to cool.
- Place the goats cheese in a bowl and use a wooden spoon to soften to a spreadble consistency. Slice the strawberries and chop up the walnuts.
Divide the got’s cheese between the crostini and spread onto each piece. Layer over some sliced strawberries and add some chopped walnuts to each one. Finsish with some chopped garlic, some seasoning and drizzle with hoeny.
